Grade 7, £35,523 to £38,912 pro-rata (inclusive of local weighting) depending on experience.

Yes? Then you could be the person we are looking for to join our team! Following retirement, promotion and career changes, we have been left with several key positions to recruit to across the different disciplines of environmental health.
What will you be doing?
• Responding to service requests and giving appropriate advice.
• Carrying out a range of inspections and investigations and working to remedy issues affecting the health, wellbeing or safety of those in East Hertfordshire.
• You will be empowered to undertake appropriate enforcement action as necessary.
• For the senior roles, you will also be responsible for providing technical advice to the team and supporting the development of officers.
About you
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
• A relevant qualification or experience within the discipline applied for and a working knowledge of the legislation and regulations relating to those areas.
• The ability to deal with challenging situations using tact and discretion.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work without supervision, prioritise work to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written skills, with the ability to write schedules of work, summarise accurately and convey complex information.
